In Hinduism, moksha is the ultimate spiritual goal of human life, which is the liberation from the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth (samsara) and the attainment of eternal bliss. Moksha is considered to be the highest achievement and is believed to be the ultimate purpose of human existence. It is said to be attained by breaking the cycle of karma, which binds a person to the material world, through spiritual knowledge, devotion, and self-realization. The attainment of moksha is said to free a person from the limitations of the physical body and mind, and unite them with the divine.
