What is Kali Yuga?

Kali Yuga is the fourth and current age in Hinduism's system of four world ages, known as the Yuga Cycle. It is considered the darkest and most degenerate of the four ages, characterized by ignorance, moral decay, and a general decline in humanity's spiritual and ethical values. According to Hindu belief, the Kali Yuga began with the death of the Hindu god Krishna, and is said to last for 432,000 years. During this time, it is believed that spirituality and dharma (duty and morality) will become increasingly scarce, and people will become more selfish, violent, and materialistic. However, the Kali Yuga is also seen as a necessary stage in the cycle of the world ages, leading to a period of renewal and spiritual awakening in the next cycle. The idea of the Kali Yuga is often interpreted as a reminder to strive for spiritual progress, even during difficult times, and to maintain one's moral and ethical values in the face of societal challenges.
